Dear Alumni,
Chingay is here once again and we are particpating in the parade for the second time coming. Chingay itself was translated from Hokkien and it actually means the "Art of Masquerade". Over the years, it has transformed into the grandest float parade in Asia, with a media coverage to over 20 different countries and an expected reach out to 20 million people worldwide. The theme for the parade this year would be "Wonderland".
As our float, KRHome - Our Journey, Our Story will be parading down city hall area on 30th and 31st Jan, there is a most popular float voting competition held online and with just a few simple steps, you guys can vote for our one and only beloved float - KRHome, which represents Kent Ridge Hall and showcases the best works by all Kentridgeans, all the way from the mass production in Rag to the presentation on parade day.
So kindly vote for our float and give our wonderful float the recognition it deserves, after its astonishing success on Rag Day itself.

Chingay will be held this Friday and Saturday (30th and 31st January) at City Hall area. For those who wish to catch it live, the best areas to watch (FOC) are areas 2 and 3 (refer to map below, click to enlarge). Chingay will not be shown live on TV this year.
