KR Alumni Day 2009 - KRanival

Meet: 1.30pm at SRC, van will ferry us back to hall at 5.30pm


Yo Yo KR Alumni!
That's right! Its time to settle the score again.
Once again, its time for the annual KR Alumni Day, with this year's themed as KRarnival.

For those of you who never knew, KR Alumni Day is a day in December where the KR alumni return to our alma mater.

We head down to the courts where we once sweated, trained and competed our guts out in the journey to bring glory to KR - and challenge the current day residents in our favourite sports - soccer, handball, frisbee, volleyball, netball, takraw, to name a few.

Now that most all working and this includes sitting around on our butts all day, this is a great opportunity to stretch those butt muscles and get back the exhilarating rush of adrenalin on court, running hard, strategizing and working together to get the next goal/point. This is also practice for the current KR teams who will compete in IHG 2010. We have heard over the years playing against the Alumni gives the teams a real boost, as it replicates a real match and they learn very much from the Alumni who have played countless IHGs.

Also, its a great time to get back in touch with the other alumni. Its not easy for one to gather back old friends, and we usually wait for people to call us out. This is that call you have been waiting for. For not only sports will be played, but our very own favourite KR sport- Frisbee will be a highlight, there will be Wii consoles and board games (for those who feel like giving sports a miss) set up in the lobby and there will be a massive dinner together.

Oh by the way, this is the 5th consecutive annual Alumni Day- and the Alumni have been champions the last three years.

So.. if the stats are correct, we have won 100% of the years, and we look to continue this streak this year and we will definitely need YOUR help.
